Things To Do

Talloires is one of the most beautiful corners of France, crystal-clear Alpine lake, medieval abbeys, churches, mountains & wonderful local restaurants.

Here are our favourite things to do while you're here along with some other recommendations to fill the long weekend & beyond.

There is a seasonal boat taxi and ferry service operating across parts of the lake, which can be a beautiful (and very scenic!) way to travel during your stay.

What makes it feel special is that each area has a slightly different vibe:

  • Annecy = lively old town

  • Talloires = elegant & romantic

  • Menthon-Saint-Bernard = luxury/chateau feel

  • Doussard = relaxed beach vibe

  • Duingt = quieter postcard villages

We've pulled together some recommendations for you so you don't have to spend hours researching!

    • Rent a paddle board or kayak
